The GPz 1100 B1 was Kawasaki's first large 1100 cc production bike, a big air-cooled four with electronic fuel injection and a steel cradle frame. It was launched to bring the brand back to the top end of performance after the Z1000 era. It was the start of a model line that ran until 1985, when the water-cooled GPz900R took over.
